When the work done in a smaller space doesn’t translate accurately into the final mix environment, it leads to wasted time, effort, and resources. That's why every element of our studio — from layout to acoustics — has been intelligently and symbiotically designed to ensure sonic conformity and creative efficiency across all stages of post-production.

Extensive research and acoustic studies have gone into creating an ecosystem of rooms that accurately translate sound across various listening environments. Whether it's a Dolby Premium Room, multiplex-type room, or large-format theatre mix room, each space is purpose-built to meet the demands of diverse projects.

Smart Spatial Planning
Nestled in the heart of Mumbai, Canaries Post Sound offers a thoughtfully designed layout with dedicated spaces for recording, editing, mixing, and design - fostering collaboration while giving teams the independence to work with precision. This spatial separation enhances productivity, while ensuring constant creative communication among engineers, editors, and artists.

Mixing Rooms: Where Magic Comes Together

Our mixing rooms are where every sonic layer finds its place — dialogue, ambience, effects, music — all come together to form the final cinematic soundscape. Each project is personally supervised by Resul Pookutty, supported by some of the most sought-after mixers in the industry.

The Main Mix Room is acoustically treated to Dolby standards, equipped with:

A Secondary Mix Room features:

Pro Tools system (with reduced track count)
Stereo Monitoring
Speaker system with bass management

Led by Resul Pookutty, our sound designers craft soundscapes that reflect the soul, genre, and treatment of each film. Every cue, tone, and texture is treated as an integral part of the visual experience.
